Riverfront ADU

The Owners of this single family home in Chicago were looking for a space for their in-laws to stay when in town.  They were also in need to re-build a dilapidated old garage that sat on the site.  The ground floor is setup as a two-car garage and additional room for storage.  The upper floor is a one-bedroom unit with a small separate study and a modest sized kitchen.  What makes the space unique is the view out to the river, and therefore our goal of optimizing natural light, air, and views.
