Damen Loft Building

To enhance marketability and offer new interior build-outs of the first floor spaces for retail, the Owner of the building wanted to lower the existing floor level to the public sidewalk level. This adaptation involved structural engineering and column design, as well as glazing re-design that would maintain the integrity of the existing heavy timber loft building.

Blender Architecture was subsequently retained by the retail franchises, BCBG MaxAzria and Marc Jacobs, to be the Architect of Record on the interior build-outs.
